Claybybond is a danish ceramics brand run by mother and son, Trine Birgitte Bond and Sebastian Bond, who share a deep love for the ocean and the creative process.
Claybybond was founded by Trine Birgitte Bond, born and raised by the sea. I feel deeply connected to the life beneath the surface and being a creative individual is a fundamental need for me. I bring more than 25 years of experience working with clay into Claybybond.
We create hand-built, organic ceramic forms. Inspired by the ocean’s architecture and the geology of Stevns Klint, just 15 minutes from our Rødvig workshop. Each piece is unique, reflecting the beauty of the ocean and our blue planet.

The Art of Glazing
Our glazes, in collaboration with the clay, tell stories of the earth’s geological beauty, particularly the life beneath the surface. I aim to create vibrant and tactile surfaces, with intriguing textures that invite touch.
The many different types of clay and glazes are part of an exciting and experimental exploration of materials. Working with clay and glaze is a true joy, and new shapes, glazes, and expressions are continuously developed with great enthusiasm.
The glaze enhances each work’s character, creating unique patterns that cannot be replicated.
Studio and Showroom
Claybybond has two studios: one in Rødvig and one in Rødovre. Visit our studios for a personal experience.
Our development workshop and showroom are located at Rødvig Harbor. Here, Trine Birgitte Bond works, and you can explore an exciting selection of various ceramic works – both to view and purchase.
Our workshop in Rødovre is managed by Sebastian and Sophia, and it includes a small showroom featuring selected pieces from our webshop, which you can see and purchase. The workshops are open by appointment.
